Quality Management System

Since its creation, Aquapor gave special attention to Quality. It had its first certified product in October 1982 and it was one of the first companies getting Quality certification. The first one - ISO 29002 - was accomplished in December 1993, and then updated into version 9001 in October 1999. Later on, we change into version 2000 of the standard ISO 9001 and after that, into version 2008.

What Quality Means?
To Aquapor, Quality implies the monitoring of the procedures to ensure they are effective, defining the most adequate suppliers, certified products and checking control points, from the reception of raw-material and the equipment used to end products.

Essays
There are several stages which ensure that all products meet all Quality requirements: starting on the reception of raw-material, we use different levels of sampling according with the supplier and components relevance. Next, all through the fabrication process, to ensure next stages will only use all sub products meeting the requirements. Finally a last but not less accurate analysis segregates any defecting product that might have passed the previous checking.

Our commitment is clear and simple: we take Quality very serious and we don’t want to take risks. Thousands of aquaria are filled with water every year and it is not by chance.

Our aim is to go beyond our client’s expectations, offering products meeting all requirements, keeping a high level of service using fast means of communication, and above all, meeting to their needs. These requirements turn out to be the engine of our development and consequently, our future. Once again, from purchasing to reception, from packing to expedition, we seek to carry out our commitment, in a most detailed and accurate way: To provide pets with ideal conditions so that their owners can enjoy their company the best way possible.

Effectiveness
We intend to achieve our goal without wasting of resources; we are permanently reviewing and upgrading all the processes, in order to go further beyond. And these, always bearing in mind the most important requirement: meeting our client’s needs.

Continual Improvement
This is an endless procedure. Everything that we have made and accomplished is just a step in our way up. All the attained targets will be the following departures. What we have learned so far just gives us the thrills to know more and more. What we have planned yesterday it’s never enough. Today, we’ll do better. What we have produced so far gives us the nerve to continuing to improve.

The urge to know, management, commitment and discipline are therefore the main tools allowing us, day-by-day, to give another step, to pass to the next level, to put an extra layer, in order to proceed with this Project.
